Ugh, how obnoxious. It sucks you had to deal with that. Some people really need to learn the difference between liking something in fiction and approving of it in reality.

As for anon commenting, I don't think you need to feel bad for turning it off. Tumblr accounts are free and take like 3 seconds to set up, and if somebody still feels uncomfortable saying something under their username, well that's what sockpuppets are for.
