So wait.

If a blogger says that she made art out of one of Anne Rice's books (and that she felt no shame whatsoever because it kind of sucked)...

...and Anne Rice herself got all huffy and posted it to her Facebook page with the implicit intent of siccing her fanpoodles on said blogger...

...does this mean that Anne Rice is interrogating the text (art) from the wrong perspective?
