Joking aside, that's why this bothered me so much. There's a difference between burning books and seeking to destroy ideas. One was a symbol of the other, but they're not the same thing.

The casual, cruel obliviousness of equating crafting with burning is gross. Also offensive? The implication that freakin' Anne Rice is an equal to the authors and publishers who saw their work destroyed by the Nazis.

She's the real victim here, you know.
