My general experience is:

- Lit books are the cheapest
- Business can go from super-cheap to bloody expensive
- Programming is cheaper (You will also never use them due to looking everything up online)
- Architecture is cheaper BUT whatever you don't spend on textbooks will immediately be spent on school supplies so you will still break the bank
- Medical textbooks you might as well sell your kidney
- Engineering textbooks too

It doesn't help that most publishing companies are trying to force you to buy new versions by bundling them with "must-have" software codes and they tend to have a partnership with iClickers, etc. so they'll want you to buy both for an overpriced fee.

The textbook industry really, really sucks trust me.
