DW is kind of a hard thing to love, sometimes. I am basically genetically programmed to love it (my dad saw the first ever episode as a small person, and has seen damn near every episode since) but, well... it's been going fifty years. It's... special, sometimes, and quite frequently I find myself just sighing pointedly at it and leaving it alone for a while. And then I come back and it's done something flamboyantly awesomely shiny and I'm in love all over again.
