They are silly names, but slash names with actual slashes don't work as tags (they break the HTML), so they are kind of a necessity.

Also, someone who apparently wasn't fond of Misha Collins started posting in the Cockles tag manips of Misha with captions like "Yes I am cockless!" and tagging it "J2 pwns Cockles." I saw it because they also tagged it with "Misha Collins," a tag I track. I have to say, it's almost impossible to tell the trolls from Misha's actual fans.
