It's a very popular line, I saw about five million meme images using the quote after the movie came out. (Though it might be because I'm in ASOIAF/GoT fandom, so the scene of Arya stabbing the table got captioned immediately.)
But yeah, this... isn't plagiarism. It was a joke before THG, and while I think Brennan's excuse is ridiculously overblown (claim it was a tribute to the movie, because it probably was, just admit it, don't go into super-defense "I love mahogany" mode my god), if CC weren't involved nobody would have given a damn.
