It usually (and I say 'usually' in the case of Marvel ship logic) follows the following guidelines:

~paring name~ Bros - platonic
~paring name~ Boyfriends - dating/romancing/shipy stuff
~paring name~ Husbands - married with children

And they all usually bleed over but no one really gets fussy about it.
