You're possibly thinking of the original animated series? What I'm talking about is M. Night's live action adaptation, which I hear tell was horrific. I'm one of the lucky ones who wasn't planning to see it anyway, and thus was ~~rolling in schadenfreude~~ not horribly disappointed when it tanked.
