I still love his juveniles that aren't trying to be deep- they're still problematic in some ways, but when he doesn't put female characters in, at least they don't suffer the way poor Poddy did in Podkayne of Mars (which still pisses me off because it could have been so good and he just screwed up Poddy because he has no idea how actual girls act. He created a girl so irritating that I prayed for her death at the end- and really it shouldn't have happened. If he'd just written a Stock Heinlein Character and changed the pronouns she could have been awesome!).
