LOL, I'll admit that I wrote some meta about how if you want to write a canon-compliant fic where Dean/Cas are OMG MEANT TO BE, it's a good thing that Castiel has sexual (and hopefully, eventual romantic) relationships that aren't Dean.

But no. I'm pretty sure that it's just a sign that Castiel had a boner and a willing ladyfriend.
