Re: Pokemon fans: a question.
Awesome! I got back into gaming this year -- turns out it's one of the only things that I can do while dealing with a disabling illness -- and Persona 3 FES just happened to be one of my first PS2 games... and it was perfect. That being said, I've demo'd a Pokemon game and sometimes you just want your combat with a side of cute, you know? Or something similar but new. (Devil Survivor, you suck.) My main concern was jumping in and finding the right Pokemon game -- the SMT games have so many branches, so starting with the DS titles will give you a different take on the series than the PS2 ones, etc., and since I kept seeing those two-part Pokemon titles, I was wondering if I'd be hopelessly lost if I could only afford Black but not White.
Satan and Helel, preferably. ;) Yeah, explaining SMT games to people... "It's kinda like Sailor Moon, in that I'm chosen and have to activate my powers but balance it with going to school... and now I shoot myself in the head and a helpful monster comes out."
