I used to do random triple rotation battles on Black even though my Pokemon weren't even EV trained or anything like that at all. I won about a third of the time, which was often enough to make me feel like I wasn't totally embarrassing myself. So I guess there were some other casual people like me doing the random battles, and I did have fun doing it.

But I don't know if all the ways to internet battle with random people on X and Y are full of only people who take it so seriously I'd only annoy them.

(At one point I decided to have a Real Battling Team. I bred a Mienfoo with very good stats and that was about as far as I got before I gave up. But I did get a shiny doing the breeding so that was cool. I might try again.)

And I mostly breed my starters just so I can have something halfway decent to give away on Wonder Trade, because I love it too. Someone in Japan sent me a Ditto yesterday.

Wow, now I am making it sound complicated, but the game itself still really isn't.
