LRH was always about the money but plenty of these cult leaders aren't. What they DO tend to be about, is the hero worship in teh cult of personality thing. This guy could run a cult if he got into religion or something. That he stays in fandom is a choice on his part, but sheesh he could ruin lives easily, he already has I know. I've seen cults up close and too damned personal here. I lost friends in Jonestown back in 1978, and I'd met Jim Jones who really creeped me the fuck out. So Andy? Really creeps me the fuck out and he's relatively speaking small change by the standards of someone like Jones. So while I wish he'd turn off his computer, back away and shut off his cell phone, I really, really, really hope he never gets the idea of starting a religion, because that would make TentMoot look sane and safe.
