I feel like Tumblr's gotten a little better at not immediately accepting everything they read outright (or at least my corner of it, I guess), but yeah. Of course it also seems like it's the younger set who are just starting to dip their toes into the social justice pool that don't quite have the tools to figure out when someone's legitimately seeking/offering help and when they're just out to use them.

Which, of course, isn't helped by an extremely talented and, by all accounts, charming and personable manipulator.
