Someone like that is going to be even harder to shake out of it; she's so convinced she's couldn't possibly be scammed that she'll cling to it long after the impressionable, low self-esteem 'children' back out and accept their gullibility. And scammers like Andy know that, that's why they prey on the proud. Not only will she cling to the lie longer than anyone else, but she'll be a good hook for reeling others in on. Surely someone like her wouldn't fall for a scam, so it can't be one.
