1. I love that Harry Potter shipping news still has the ability to get so many people so worked up.
2. Honestly, who is a fully developed mature being ready to enter into a long-term relationship at 17? Obviously, all three of them had some maturing to do before they were ready to settle down. (Whether they should have been written explicitly to end up with their equivalent of high school sweethearts is another matter.) I would hope that all of the trio went through some growing up since the end of DH.
