Oh, H/G was like the Captain Obvious of the Good Ship I Can't Believe It's Not Obvious.

But, yeah, Harry/Luna seemed like a much better fit particularly since JKR drew such parallels between Harry and Luna in OotP, and gave them some lovely interactions in both OotP and HBP.
