Morrigan Anne ([info]_morrigan_) wrote in [info]fandom_wank,
I kinda felt throughout the books that Harry would have been better off like that, personally... not that he would be a bad husband or that no woman was worthy of him, just that he was apart from them just enough to never quite fully fit in... if that makes sense?

My thing about that is though, I DO think the thing Harry wanted most was a family. Because his parents were killed when he was just a baby and because the Dursley's never gave even an ounce of affection I think, above all, he just wanted a family of his own where he could receive the love he clearly felt he was missing, especially for the first 10 years of his life.

So I actually don't think Harry would have been happy never having a family of his own. I actually think it would have hurt him quite a lot really.
