Oh, bah, why do the kiddies on tumblr have to make me facepalm so hard all the time.

I feel like an Old on the porch &c when it comes to youngsters on the internet. it's like. was it this bad 10 years ago or is it just the sheer connectedness of kids these days?

(I associate certain fandoms, like Hannibal, more strongly with tumblr than others. There's a weirdness about tumblr sometimes that I'm not sure I want to get.)
