So let me get this straight. They rounded all the congoers up, put them in a ballroom, gave them the impression that they were stuck there until they handed over their money and/or that they would be directly responsible for ruining everybody's weekend if they didn't, collected money in a very public way that allowed everyone to see who was contributing, and suggested that the money was a loan and not a gift but didn't give receipts. And the people being coerced into giving up their money were mostly teenagers without their parents.
