Wooooow not sure how much of that is the convention's fault or the hotel's fault but either way skeevy as HELL.

That is something I haven't really seen people talking about, though, is the effect the fundraiser had on potential Artist Alley/Dealers Room sales. I mean you know that most of the attendees who donated were using funds that they'd brought with them to spend at the convention in the AA/DR, so that whole thing kind of screwed over the artists and vendors.
