I come bearing RPS wank.
So a bunch of people in the Buffy/Angel fandom started a community dedicated to RP slashing pretty much all of the actors on both shows. And they have a lot of fun.

Bubonicplague has a problem with this. In fact, she finds the RPG "offensive, twisted, and sick." She asks all involved to de-friend her. (Since it’s also mentioned in some of the comments, I should add that Bubonicplague also thinks slash trivializes gay men.)

Kita weighs in with an early response, and some of the comments in her thread turn into a discussion of the etiquette involved in kerfuffles when neither person has the other on their friends list.

TheBratQueen also adds her two cents, mentioning that this whole thing might be easier to follow if it were on fandom_wank.

Meanwhile, in the comments of Bubonicplague’s original thread, someone mentions that "we ought to start a RP RPG where we take on the identities of people who do these things. Complete with RPG'd lawyers sending cease-and-desists, and RPG'd pissed-off SOs, etc etc." The RPSers decide that, actually, that sound like a great idea. Seriously.

Now, with all this said, I only have one question: is there really a "No Keruffle Day"?
