I don't want to flame anyone... but I wanted to add that I think the "profile" for the female vampire “Shadowconn” was actually real, and the author (who is ALSO named Shadowconn-- warning klaxons!) for it later said it was fake just to avoid being embarassed.

When you go to the author's (Shadowconn’s) livejournal, you see that buried under a bunch of lyrics are a bunch of fics featuring Shadowconn having hot and heavy sex with a bunch of folks. And these fics aren’t facetious or parodic or humorous. They seem perfectly serious. So... I really think the profile was for real, though the author later said they weren't simply to avoid being mocked for making such a blatant Mary Sue.

	Oh yeah. I especially liked this one: "I know JKR doesn't like slash." Since when? Her lawyers have said that she doesn't approve of sexually explicit fic--het or slash.
