You guys never fail to provide the wank when I need you to.

For the people that aren't arteests, DeviantArt (or DA) is the FF.net of art. Like FFN in its earlier days, it has forums. Unlike FFN did, though, some of DA's forums (just by their very nature) seem geared to generate as much bukkake as possible, most notable among these being the "Complaints" forum, which is a general rantbox.

The Super decides to complain about the prominence of gays in the media. Of course, wank ensues immediately.

The wank officially starts when Amsel replies sarcastically to thesuper, and he reads it in perfect seriousness. A few other replies making fun of The Super's seeming homophobia ensue.

But the real wank starts when Hedda says that it's realistic to have gay characters because 25% of the population is gay. 61Dynamic corrects her statistics (by saying 6% of the population is out), and Hedda acts like a baby. 61dynamic, for his credit, acts maturely.

Hedda gets herself involved in a secondary kerfluffle when Little Chris states that gay people are portrayed too flamboyantly. Hedda agrees, but dissent occurs when he compares the way gays are portrayed to acting in blackface.

The nest few tentacles are relatively peaceful--even The Super's wanquito gets only five replies. The next firestorm, however, cums comes when Seegie calls The Super a homophobe. Valkyre jumps in and says that people like Seegie caused him to be a homophobe, and--oh--Seegie's a fag. "I AM NOT GAY!" ensues, and cocks fly everywhere.

And then Illusions667 dares to agree with The Super.

Then, secondary wank ensues, and my brain short-circuits.

All in all, just another day on DeviantArt.

And the reason for the posting of this here? It's pan-fandom, and too huge to resist.
