	Although I'm going to have to vote for troll (his cadences are wrong) I'm pretty sure that I've seen that Hell in RealAudio thing on real fundy sites. I'll bet that Hell in RealAudio is the clip from CoastToCoastAM--supposedly a microphone was lowered down a deep drilling shaft and miles below the surface it picked up a bunch of creepy moaning noises that could almost sound like voices. I'm sure there's a scientific explanation for it...but it was pretty creepy when you're lying in bed listening to the radio at 1 am.

I just listened to it to see if it is that and the host of the program, Art Bell, claims that it is a "cleaned up" copy. In other words, it's been doctored.

It sounds mostly like those sounds you described (which, if anyone has a copy of the real broadcast of this, I'd be interested to hear it -- strange natural phenomena fascinates me) overlayed with a repeated audio of a woman screaming and a man's voice going "Burn, sinner!"

	I think the fundies added the actual voices, because when I heard it on the radio it was just the creepy, wind-like, almost-voices. You might be able to find it on the coasttocoastam.com website--or e-mail George Noory and find out how to hear the original recording. (Reply to this)(Parent)

He sounds pretty normal to me. It's possible he believes all this. i know peiople who sound just like this in real life.

Of course,. they threw me out of their nice little church for standing up and calling the preacher on presenting Pascal's Wager as his own idea. The horrible part was, that hoary old theological chestnut was new to 90% of the folks there.

I'm tempted to friend him just to use my "smoochies" and "Gay pants" icons on his buddy list.
