Wankbert!
It all starts with a Dilbert strip in which the office crew begins to starve to death due to their attempt to find a place their Vegan coworker can eat...
Let the wanking begin!
At first, it's mild stuff: Vegans are too easy to make fun of! Oh, and I don't eat with my coworkers because I'm Vegetarian, so there.
Vegans DON'T invite themselves along like that! It's you damn meat-eaters that make problems and whine!
Then it starts getting into people who are actually insulted:
Wah! Asok the Intern is horrible, but this is worse!
Then there's a thread about how restaurant options mean the vegetarians can eat with meat-eaters, but meat-eaters can't eat at vegetarian-only restaurants.
Someone tries to imply that this is really Dilbert saying how America sucks.
And my own single little throwaway joke is ridiculed as being passe. ^.^

Think that's the end of it? Ohhhh no.

The next day's Dilbert continues the theme. But this time the wankers are already revved up and ready to go!
The first is an entirely unfunny "rebuttal strip", and the wank really gets going from there. The only slightly funny rebuttal rebuttal strip sub-thread contains debate over logical phallacies. Then there are those who can't make comics, so they do a script version.
And currently, the comments end with someone who is more interested in facts than jokes.

C'mon... Wankbert... he'd be a GREAT new character!
