I still think there is some wank in the fact that the OP brought it over to TWS_Support. It's not TWS. It's just rallying support-- "Hey, look, these people are stupid and I'm not! I'm just anal!"

On the other hand, s/he has a point that they shouldn't be talking about Suikoden and Xenosaga in a supposedly Squaresoft community. Aren't there other communities specifically for talking about those series?

And, to be fair,

nikari didn't accuse the community of being stupid or anything. He merely pointed out the fact that Xenosaga isn't a Squaresoft game. Also, being as it's one of only two games mentioned in the actual community info, I personally feel that that's a pretty big oversight.

I suppose it can be argued that bringing the attention over to

tws_support was a bit on the wanky side, but again, he did have a point, and it was embarrassing to have to watch people banter around the point while completely missing it at the same time.

I didn't realize it, but apparantly the point of this post is to get everyone of you to admit that they are "evol". Someone else said this, so therefore it MUST be true.

And to that person, I don't appreciate that you've commented postively on stuff I've posted before and then say something like that when you think I'm not looking. That's just not kosher. :/

The original post to the Squaresoft community may have been a little anal, but I wouldn't consider it wanky. Bringing the whole thing over to

tws_support was a little wanky. Turning around and acting like everyone in F_W must love everything you post if they like one thing you post is very wanky. Considering all this, I'm afraid that I can't come to the conclusion that

nikari is a poor, persecuted innocent. Sorry.

I'm not sure why there's so much animosity towards me. It'd be one thing if I was dead wrong, but I'm not, and the people in that community just seem to be walking around it and hearing what they want to hear.

Although granted, the cucumber bit was pretty retarded on my part, haha.

	Possibly. The thing about F_W folks is that we're often the first to admit when we ourselves are being wanky. Heck, many of us (myself included) have wanked ourselves before. It's not like we're "above" anything. Still, trolling for wank and intentionally trying to incite it is, at least in my opinion, more wanky than the resultant wank could ever hope to be. You can't ALWAYS assume that.

Given that F_W is well enough known as teh EVOL of fandom, and "Wank" is used in other contexts (There's a quote on my profile page..."It's the rare and beautiful wankah." Said quote was said by my little brother in a Crocodile Hunter voice while staring out a car window at Eurotrash...) that there's a decent chance it might not be one of us.

On the other hand, it might. Can't assume, though.

I think the wank comes from that IMO you're trying really hard to make a mountain out of a molehill.

Someone mentioned a NAMCO game in a Squaresoft thread! Won't someone think of the children?

You're right Xenosaga is NOT a Squaresoft game, but the folks over there really don't seem to care that much and maybe it shouldn't be such an issue to you either.
