A bit of self-wank
Well, a week or so ago, I started up a community on lj, potterbadfic. I half-expected it to get wanky, but frankly, I didn't care, as I find badfic kinda funny.

Well, it didn't take as long as I thought.

It appears that phatnat003 made a bit of a goof. In a post (which I deleted at first, then thought better of and reposted) she made last night, she posted a bit of smut. Not just any smut, mind you, but my smut. I also posted a request for the required excerpt, as noted in the template.

I then went on to explain my smut. Probably the biggest mistake I made, as it really turned me into the wanker. The wankiness is small-time, yes. However, I'm giving y'all ha heads-up, so that you can laugh at me and my stupidity.

I guess I was asking for this. *ponces off to roll in his own wank*

Could you point out where my errors were? I spell check all posts and comments before posting them as well. Perhaps I did miss a few typos, but if you were editing the post, why did you not place the headings in bold text? You had no qualms in making a note of me not doing so, so if you *did* edit, why not change the headings? It sounds a lot like you're making excuses to me, but eh... that's just my opinon.

	I don't think anything was particularly wanky in and of itself, concerning both the comment to the entry and the entry itself, but adding comments to the entry (such as the one by the 'author name' field) seemed in fairly bad form. (Reply to this)

Fist of all, the community colors make reading the posts really hard. Mainly the white on yellow, not enough contrast.

I didn't even see the BDSM, unless you meant Hermione's attitude, which really doesn't need that warning in my opinion. This really didn't have the feel of a HP story, the characters didn't feel like they belonged there. It could have been easily solved by adding some stuff that tied them more to the HP world, bit of background information. Smutscenes out of context just don't rock my boat. *shrug*
