The irony is deep. To paraphrase: "I'm offended that you took my original characters and wrote stories about them without my permission."

Um... what about the story they appeared in? Hypocritical much?

. . . lay claim to the names Harry, Draco, Snape, Lucius, Legolas, Ewan, Obi-wan, Dom, Lijah, Elijah, Squidwarts, and Moe.

If anyone ever uses these names without my sacred permission I will hunt you down and kill you and then I will take down my own forum and pout in a corner.

And you don't want that.

NO! DEAR GOD, NO! PLEASE, please don't take down your forum! YOUR WONDERFUL FORUM! After all, it probably took so much work to make it-- clicking a few buttons, maybe making a banner! DON'T THROW IT ALL AWAY! PLEASE NO!

Um... so where is your forum, anyway?

Nope, sorry. You abused my love and kindness by BLASPHEMING and using of the no-no names, so I will now deprive you of my massively impressive online skills.

Damn, I knew I had it here somewhere . . .

I shall DEFY YOU!!!

Legolas walked to store. He needed to buy more milk. </b>Lucius</b> and Snape used it all in their kinky sex cat games and neglected to replace the carton. THE NERVE! Legolas hadn't encountered such boorish behavior since Draco and Dom drank orange juice out of the carton. At the same time. Legolas wasn't sure how they managed that, but Moe took a picture and pictures don't lie. Oh damn! He had to buy more tuna fish as well! Bugger! Elijah and Lijah used all the tuna fish to make their tuna noodle casserole. Legolas thought the dish was vile. The Lembas crumble didn't add to the flavor. Legolas sighed. He wasn't sure why the Valar saw fit to put him in a house with such nutters. He must've skewered a Sacred Mirkwood squirrel by accident or done something equally scandalous.Obi-Wan suggested sacrificing Ewan to Eru but Legolas didn't want to soil the carpets. Sometimes immortality was a pain in the arse. He hoped he had enough money to buy the milk and tuna fish. He suspected that Harry had been dipping into his wallet lately to keep Squidwarts hopped up on dope so Harry would be free to make his move on the castle. The life of an Elf. Le sigh.

Instead of allowing people to steal something I've created, I'm taking down my forum. Post somewhere and do not use Kali ever again.

This is a nice and mature way of dealing with a situation.

It's really a gray area. Some of it is canon, some of it is 'real', and some of it has elements of both. We just go with the flow and let other people worry about it.

What Renny said. It's always been a difficult call, especially when some of the guys use their real names on screen (ie the McMahons) and others have character names so silly that you can't possibly use anything but their real names - for example, if you wanted to write a fic about X-Pac, you'd probably wanna use his real name, unless you can honestly envision someone moaning, "Oh, X-Pac!" at the height of passion. Some of the guys have character names that can pass for real names, like Rob Van Dam (real name Rob Szatkowski.)

Kali also happens to be a very popular "nickname" in the wonderful world of BDSM. That girl's got a lot of people to bitch at if she thinks that it belongs to her exclusively. LOL!

Dude, Sorcha Ravenschild is me.

And it's *supposed* to be a wanky name. When I first started writing wrestling fic, my screen name was Rhiannon, but there was already a Rhiannon writing it, so I went for the most poser-Gothy name I could think of.

The shame in wrestling wank is that while there is a LOT of it (ahh, smarks, is there anything they can't do?), only people who know about the fandom would get it. I don't know if anyone else reading it would know wtf we're talking about when we say that HHH is holding everyone down. ^^
