"didn't i said on the bio not to add this community to your friends list? are people stupid? take it off your friends list now! if people can't understand this rule then don't freaking come i want everyone that wants to join this community to make there post FRIENDS ONLY.

EDIT: The maintainer deleted the original wank, and posted another wank in place of it...

	Dude. There are a lot of things this person doesn't understand, but the most urgent one is the functional difference between the community's friends and friends-of list. 	Yes, it's something that the group doesn't normally do, even though we get accused of it on a regular basis. 	Actually, I was the original "moron" who didn't read the bio page. I saw the community advertised in the community promo LJ. Since I had no intention of posting any entries or comments to it, I didn't see any reason to read the rules before adding it to my friend list. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	At the time that s/he posted the wank, I was the only person listing it as a "friend". There were only three others listing it the last time I checked. Two of them are people who did it after they read my entry about it. The third person actually is one of the members. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	having people friend it won't make them able to see friends-only posts. if the COMMUNITY has friended THEM, then they would be able to (ie if they join). normally, for this sort of thing, one would just make a closed community. otoh i'm not sure (s)he would know how to do that. (i'm in a community that's closed so the mod's bandwidth won't get eaten when she posts pictures and music, and she's rather anal about it.) yeah, worse in the sense of 'more demonstrative of idiocy.' :) apparently (s)he didn't read any of the faqs... even the ones involved with being a community maintainer.
