Actually, that community is full of teens who think they know it all and are the absolute foulest pieces of shit. There are balanced people in there but they get lost in the shuffle. It's the assholes that made me pull out of there because I got tired of venom (though I had to reply to the bracelet thing).

I was a mod there for a short time and the funny thing was, it was relatively quiet. I don't know if my reputation as a nasty person was set in stone or something.

I do agree with dyfferent that deliberately plotting to use men to get pregnant when you know that you can't afford to raise kids on your own and have no intention of ever telling the men in question that they're fathers is almost unbelieveably selfish, sneaky, and stupid. At the same time, she has to be on crack if she thinks someone wouldn't/shouldn't be offended by hearing that said about their mother. Sheesh.

I tried to stem the tide... Threw in substantive materials... Offered to fetch more... And never really got to speak to Foulmouth's original point, which I felt was flawed in its reasoning. Childfree is okay when people remember the difference between breeders and parents... I don't think all people with children are breeders per se. This argument is still degenerating, but I've learned a valuable lesson: I'm leaving well enough alone.

Once in awhile i can actually agree with stuff foulmouthedb says, as i can with other people on that community...and i have kids. Course, i couldn't say that on there because i'd get yelled at that i was somehow being high and mighty or giving them validation they neither want nor need from someone like me, because you know, i can't mean it as an honest compliment, i'm just being condescending, damn person with kids!

But yeesh...foulmouthedb is WAY off this time. Seriously, it's fucked up. I grew up with a single mom for the first 8 years of my life. Then she married a guy because she 'wanted me to have a father'. This 'father' emotionally abused me so badly i still have issues to this day. Kids should all have fathers? As foulmouthedb would say, FUCK THAT SHIT!

Err, anyhow...i knew a lot of kids with just one parent. Most of them were intelligent and well behaved. All the badly behaved kids i knew had two parents...problem was neither of them gave a shit and spoiled them rotten.

	I AM a member of childfree and there are times I'm disgusted with the lot of them. I personally love kids and it's rare I come across a kid I don't like. But these guys...wow. Leaving aside most of the main point, because I'm far, FAR too angry to address it...

Boy, am I glad I live in the socialist cesspit that is Australia. Where there's some freaky concept where the fortunate assist the less so, and children are important even if they're not yours. Investment for the future and all. Because here you can get stingy but usually liveable allowances if you're unemployed, homeless, a single parent, sick, disabled, not a single parent but just poor, a full-time student, a widow, a full-time carer, etc. Makes good sense to me. And right now I'm a recipient, but damn right I plan on paying it all back in taxes later on. And if it helps another piece of poor white trash like me get the university education their intelligence deserves even thought they can't afford it, right on. Or a single mother. That's fine too.

I find the idea that people are little unrelated islands bizarre. Maybe that's my lesbo commie pinko greenie roots showing again, but have these people ever heard of community? Hell, grandparents? If I ended up having a kid by myself, damn right its male role-model would be my dad, not some asswipe I picked up off the street just because he has a Y chromosome. My dad was a wonderful father and he'd make a fucking excellent grandfather.

I like the condescending thread about how the fault of abusive relationships rests entirely with the abused. Because moving 3000 miles away is not taking enough respectable initiative to escape a relationship; you should also buy a GUN and SHOOT him, otherwise you're still at fault!!1! What the fucking fuck, since when is it a woman's own fault she's being stalked across the country? And you know, it's not exactly easy for most people to just pack up and skip the state, especially if they have children and were dependent on their husbands' income.
