Ahhh WWFDivas_Slash. How I have missed thee.

Since one of the recent LOTR wanks was c/p-ed from a mailing list, I guess I can do the same with the ML I'm on.

For reference, Lita, Trish, Steph, and Nidia are all female personalities in wrestling (hence the name WWFDivas_Slash).

There's a few different defenses. "I'm not hurting anyone!" You don't think you're hurting anybody, but this is an adversarial situation. It's impossible, given the NC-17 content of so much RP fic, not to draw analogies to rape. Where do I begin? RP ficcers essentially claim that their rights trump other peoples' rights. This is similar, frankly, to sexual offenders, who seem to think that being denied sex is a privation that trumps a woman's right to not be forced into it. RP ficcers often express the belief that they have the right to gratify their urge to write this stuff. The rights of their subjects obviously do not enter into the discussion.

7:28pm: fw-icons community?
earlier today i posted this to fandom_lounge.

there are so many fabulous icons floating around fandom_wank, fandom_rant, dl_anon, etc.

there are also a lot of fabulous icon MAKERS.

and a lot of ideas for fabulous, hysterical icons. and a lot of funneh things to inspire said ideas.

so i was thinking: a fandom_wank+offshoots specific icon community? we could post extra funneh icons, icon ideas, icon requests, etc! it could be fun.

so. would there be interest in this? (cause i know the idea makes me get all excited.) thoughts?

there was some interest--five or six people. cesare suggested i take my suggestion over here. i've got the code, but i don't want to waste it if it's not going to be used... so... votes, thoughts?
