How many times do I have to tell you!? I don't hate slash, or people who only read slash! I only hate the hatemongering trivialization of homosexuality by straight women! BTW, Slash? Is nothing but hatemongering trivialization of homosexuality by straight women. And it makes me want to vomit. But I don't, like, hate it or anything. WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?!?!?

Come! Boggle at the ad hominem attacks against her supporters! Snicker at the lukewarm pats of "there, there" from her friends! Cringe at/sympathize with the overpolite attempts to tell her she's full of shit! Marvel at how others viewed the post as an invitation to rant about total non sequiturs!

6:13pm: Look out, it's Sailor Wank!
Ahh, anime wank.

ADV announces that their release of Sailor Moon R will have a missing episode.

Watch a few people respond intelligently. Watch others respond with fannish bloodbaths against those involved. And, of course, watch the wank.

I don't particularly care, as Sailor Moon was never part of my intro to anime (I've never seen it, actually) but there are some good wanky bits and some SERIOUS potential for major, major wank a-brewin.

My favorite example of The Stupid so far: someone who suggests that ADV license just the missing episode and release it alone on its own DVD.

SWOOSH.

Hear that? That was the point, missing you! Unfortunately. If it had hit, well, the world would be a better place. (Bloodier, but better.)
