2:27am: Icon help?
Hey guys - does anyone know where I can find that fine collection of "What The Shit Is This?" and "Bitch, Are You For Real?" icons? It was posted here a while back, and I took a few and said to myself "Yea and verily, I needeth not to gather up all my desired icons at once, for I shalt returneth!" but I've lost the link and I desperately want more F_W icon goodness!

Somebody brings up a perfectly decent point in the
Squaresoft community on LiveJournal.
Stupid people fail to see the point, and proceed to make themselves look progressively stupider in failed attempts to defend themselves.
ETA: Someone tries to accuse the OP of being wanky, and in doing so manages to create fantastically wankalicious mini-rant. Trollish? You decide.

The Mary Sue Report brings us wank. A small one, true, but this time it's a double wank.
An HP
story is reported to the community and is shredded as usual. But then
the author finds out about it. The usual snarkiness/wanking ensues. (Surprisingly the author is rather well spoken and coherent.) But then the person who originally reported this fic, decides to
let everyone know that the author is defending herself and how
wanky amusing it all is. Unfortunately for the poster,
not everyone agrees with her/him. In fact the
wank disagreeing continues, dragging in the subject of why the community exists in the first place.
Wank on two fronts; fun for all.
9:41pm: Mary Sue vs. The PPC
I really hope nobody's done this one before; I checked the community memories and didn't find it.
Feel free to slap me if I overlooked it.
It's a slightly older one (from June), but it still makes me laugh every time I read it.
It's not so much that the thread itself is overly wanky, but the
Anti-Mary Sue People Are All Losers and Must Suck Really Bad. They burn churches, lynch people and they probably kick puppies too. fic in and of itself warrants at least a mild wank...I think. If not for the whiny story, for the fact that one of the members of the group it came from is the one responsible for getting MSTs pulled from fanfiction.net ^_^
