11:21am: Let's all point at the newbie...
Hello, obligatory newbie post. But, I come bearing a mini-wank.
Anime Fanservice... Probably listed under things you should not ask about at a gaming board... Guardians of Order is a company that makes roleplaying books, among them an anime role-playing system called Big Eyes Small Mouth. They maintain message board on their sites where fans can exchange information.
It isn't unusual to see fans as for anime recommendations, and that's how it started. A new member asked about anime he could watch with his girlfriend -- with one minor stipulation. His girlfriend equated female nudity/fanservicy shots with sexism, so he asked for series that didn't have any of that. While we were all mentally running through our anime colections to check for nudity, some comments were made on the peculiarity of the request... well... it spiraled downward and became the Big Battle between this Guy and his Repressed Hyper-Sensitive Girlfriend and the Intolerant Misogynist Bigots.
4:22pm: So, is YOUR religion gay, too?
Greg Giraldo is a comedian who sometimes appears on the Politically Incorrect-esque program Tough Crowd.
But the important question is, is he gay? Along with some enlightened responses.
All in all, trollery seems to be afoot, as it doesn't take long to get from Point One to 'Go kill yourself.'

9:12pm: Artemis Fowl wankage.
Hi, obligatory "I'm new" line.
Moving along.
This charming (though a few days old) piece is found on the Artemis Fowl IMDB messageboards, where some girl states that
she thinks DJ Qualls would be a good Artemis Fowl. Yanno,
despite the fact that Artemis is a nine year old Irish boy, and DJ Qualls is a 26 year old American. Then a GoOfYsRiDe777 not only starts trashing
the girl's opinion, but brings in the fact that her mother said he would make a good Artemis, but *gaspshock* she said before that her mother was dead! GoOfYsRiDe777 then also asks everyone to "PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE REPLY IN CAPS [IF YOU WANT] AND WITH GUSTO TO GET THE POINT ACROSS TO THIS BANANA GIRL WHO'S MOTHER DIED WHILE SHE WAS TELLING HER THAT DJ QUALLS WOULD BE A GOOD CHOICE!"

The girl replies back that "SHE IS DEAD!! I HAVE A STEP MOM! STUPID IDIOT! I'M STILL GRIEVING ABOUT MY MOTHER!!!!! I HATE YOU!!! :'(" and it all degenerates from there.
I don't think I can adequately explain the rest, as I've blocked it from my memory for the therapist to drag out of me in the future. Though I can say, despite (or rather, because of) the "OMG GO DIE"s, it's still rather amusing.
