Okay, newbie here, blah, blah, blah.

Anyway, my fandom, JAG, isn't usually all that wanky. However, with the onset of the new season, the fandom has exploded with wank.

Over on the DogTagsJAGMature board, we have:

However, my absolute favorite part: one of the most popular JAG fanfic sites is closing. The webmistress of Dress Whites and Roses is leaving the fandom in a huff. (This is actually what sent my wank alert off like crazy.)

Remember how the people in the comments said to let it go and all and play nice? A sort of rocky conclusion? So I guess we expected maybe a little peace for a while from this particular part of this fandom.

I'm not sure if this would fall under 'ego-stroking' or 'endless flamewars' now. Apparently, it's friend's locked and most likely, invite only.

8:42pm: So, down a bit, here, someone mentioned the deliciousness of a joint HP and RPS wank. Of course, where could we turn but the more-heterosexual-than-Domlijah-boys, Sean Biggerstaff and Chris Rankin.

For those just tuning in, Sean and Chris play, respectively, Oliver Wood and Percy Weasley in the HP movies. They both have large teeny followings - unsurprisingly, Sean's seem to have a lower average IQ and age. One day, alas, they stumble on some Rankinstaff fic, here and here.

Over at Chris Rankin's boards, the teenies freak but Chris gives it the big ol' thumbs up and makes a gratuitous mention of how he and Sean both find it amusing. However, he seems to be in the minority. There are reactions of "it's sick...twisted....sick....gross...NO!!!" and "My ex is obsessed with the whole idea of Chris/Sean. One of the reasons she's my ex." to Cairnsy blaming the whole thing on the country we come from with "Ya know, the strangest things get started by New Zealanders ^_^. First Oliver/Percy, then Fleur with the whole Chris/Sean thing ..." (OMG. IT'S SOMETHING IN THE WATER BECAUSE THINK OF THE DOMLIJAH *lights a candle*)

Unsurprisingly, Chris's fans are all pretty cool about it, overall. Calm, at least, and the arguments some of them have are just the general good old anti-RPS things. Chris leads them well. However, over at sb.com, it's a bit more amusing.

It seems that individual threads and posts on Sean's message board can't be linked to, but you can log in as a guest and search for 'Sean Gay Fan Fic', or simply read the highlights, or, would you will, the lowlights of Sean's little fans - live and unsober.
