These people claim that they're going to accept the Elite Harry Potter fans. That means no fan girls, no plebes, and definitely nobody that anyone has ever heard of in the fandom, ever.

Since when was fandom an elite thing? I wasn't aware I had to apply to be considered worthy of the title of being a Harry Potter Fan (TM). Did I miss a memo or something?

Their user info's the real kicker, though:

12:25pm: Finally, my first post here
Around September 30th, Ficbitches deviates from its normal path. Instead of posting the usual fic reviews, they post some very interesting requests from greyarchives.org.

The responses are not unusual and certainly not surprising. That is, until October 6th on page 2. People from Greyarchives.org begin pouring in and do everything from "live and let live" to outright threats.

Gems include:

Claiming that the ficbitches are all cowards. Followed by threatening to have ficbitches shut down. Common on ljdrama.org.

Even the greyarchive admin gets involved by saying, "You girls bite my site and i'll bite right back".

Kinky, especially since he's relentless. Yoiks.

spun off of a thread at FA park entitled "does anyone but me hate--," wherein people bitch and moan about hermione, we have the great house elf methods debate. wherein people are rilly rilly passionate about house elf rights. even if they don't know how to spell "elves."

7:46pm: Is Bale Batman?
It's been confirmed for at least a week or two: Christian Bale of "American Psycho" fame is the new Batman! WOOHOO! Now that the lead has been cast, producers have picked up the pace on "Batman: Intimidation Game" (yes, that IS apparently the new Batman movie's title)! WOOHOO! OMGBALEISSOPERFECTFORBATMAN!!!11

Uh, not according to a guy known as Rayne on the Superherohype.com messageboard. Watch as he refutes every possible pro-Bale opinion on the subject, even though he started the post thread wondering what other people thought of it.

I ran across this little gem by accident while looking for LJ communities related to Karl Urban. It's the profile that gets me. That, and the fact that it's existed since February and only has three members. Just a mini-wank, probably long dead, but it amused me. Let me show you, judge for yourself...
