Fatboy Roberts has been around for a lot of bitchy Star Wars fansite wanks (a sample of his bile). Now he's quiting. We're losing a great master of SW fandom snark and bitchiness.
But luckily, he left us with a loving 'fuck-you' to SW fansites in general:
And I see grown men clawing their own eyes out over the internet like a crew of common catfighting cunts, because someone leaked a picture of Count Dooku early. People are committing identity theft on a regular basis so they can be the first to tell unnapreciative greedy geeks who the new villain in Episode I is, and for what? For the people on the messageboards? They don't give a shit who gives what to them, they more than likely don't even remember where they heard it from. And even if they do, the chances they'll believe it is low because Star Wars is apparently so personal to these pinheads who grew up with it that any idea of Star Wars that isn't theirs sounds like SHIT to them.
I feel kinda weird about posting this, because he was, or is soon to be, my former co-mod, and I think he's hilarious. You gotta love a guy who labels himself the 'anti-fanboy.'
