4:32am: The First Annual establishment Celebrity Bukakke Party?
So is it wank if it's all a game?

Given that most of the founding members of establishment are members or at least readers of f_w and given that the game would not have come about if not for f_w, I present The Wank that Ate the Establishment as a way of giving something back to the community responsible for this demented game of mine.

Please note this is not a real wank about player kerfluffles that we've seen from HP RPGs in the past, but a series of kerfluffles that take place inside the game. So it's more mock-wank than real wank, amusing in that even in play we still follow the classic wank pattern.

3:03pm: Small wank addendum: angeluszion
A while ago, angeluszion used fic_flames to showcase her own lame flames. fandom_wank was on the scene.

Today, her friend maxi_the_pirate posted in braintrauma about a Fanfiction.net author who not only has an annoying profile (it's bad, but nothing special), but is being abusive.

Here's the "abuse".

8:54pm: What the H-E-Double-Hockey_Sticks? Looks like this thread in trekjournals couldn't decide which wank element was the primary one. You have: furries, anonymous posting insults, and threats of tracking people down using Internet info and Mapquest.

9:22pm: So as an [intelligent] avid DDR player, I avoid the namesake's US based fan website, DDRFreak, like the bubonic plague.

Someone brought this post from their message board to my attention:

A guy joins the forums JUST to ask advice on proposing to his girlfriend on the machine.

What baffles me are the people supporting him.

(Not only is it a dumb idea, but for those of you who know the game well, you'll recognize he's going about it the wrong way, too.)

This level of obsession is simply sickening.
