Hey there. I’m another long time lurker coming out of the closet with a brutal dose of hot and steaming LiveJournal wank. Today’s display of idiocy is brought to you by the debate community, which is basically wank waiting to happen. I don’t know if this comm has been reported here before, but it looks remotely entertaining.

If I ever had the chance to teach a Mary Sues Wank 101 class, this is what I'd use as a case study. I think this girl used every trick in the book...

Pottersues reports a Mary Sue by Sweet Baby Ninetails named Serenity Starbreeze. (Serenity Starbreeze? The fuck?) Shortly afterwards, the author and her sockpuppet "Bob" throw fits in her reviews over a couple of pieces of constructive criticism, and Bob claims SBN is sick:

The next day, the story is taken down, and in her author's profile there appears an angsty poem proclaiming her giving up writing, and a message claiming that her father has cancer, and she's been "crushed" by all her "constructive criticism":

Edit: A troll shows up and screams in ALL CAPS that she's the one who told Sweet Baby Ninetails about the report, and that she's going to sue for copyright infringement and pottersues "being a bitch". O_o This one seems like it might be a fake, though...

tws_support is for posting figurative trainwrecks - Things You Can't Stop Staring At. People disagree what exactly constitutes a trainwreck, of course, but in general it's a nice community.

Enter cherrymilk. She posts a link to a how-to tutorial on photomanipping a woman into a "cow" - basically, adding a tail, ears, horns, and an udder using quite crude Photoshop techniques. It's not much of a trainwreck, really; more of a point-and-laugh at the pompous ass who thinks his "art" warranted a "tutorial." But to each their own.

This morning, the post is gone. Whether it's a glitch or if the mods are getting harder on the comm guidelines remains to be seen. Either way, cherrymilk promptly throws a stamping, squealing little hissyfit.

And therein lies the wank. It's small and easily digestable. Keep in mind that this is an entire POST, not merely a comment. I wouldn't bother reporting a whiny comment. But an entire OT post, as if anyone gives a damn...that, if you ask me, is Teh Wank. Enjoy!
