I don't have very good wankdar, but every so often something on friendsfriends makes me go WTF. And this is one of those times. I know no backstory, and YMMV.

Anime conventions. Lots of people wandering around spending loads of money on their beloved, insanely overpriced hobby. After the day's festivities are done, the crowd breaks up and everyone does their own thing until the next day, and this is where our stage is set.

Unfortunately, so is the wank.

This is a long hair board. Last week, Axium commented on Angel, specifically on Harmony' "flawlessly done" infinity bun, then snickered about Fred's hair. Some gushing about the show (and the hair) ensues.

Enter smythe_michael (down near the bottom) who tuned into Angel and is disappointed because nobody had interesting hair. Bunnie tells him if he's looking for a show about hair, "there's always reruns of Dr. Quinn." Smythe snips back. Bunnie ignores him, and they spend a few posts sending eye-rolling emoticons back and forth at each other.

Minor (very, for Buffy), but I thought it was worth a few points just for the sheer oddness of place to have a fandom argument.
