12:44am: Gods! The things I find while looking for some FFX-2 International info!
So, I was looking for info on Final Fantasy X-2 Internationa/Last Mission and I found a topic that's basically speculation about who would be at the top of the Tower. It starts out being a pretty funny thread about who it might be, but
Here is where it all begins! Arguments begin to form about whether or not there is a connection between Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy X-2 International. It seems that it's OFFICIAL that all three games ARE connected. But, people don't seem to believe that. Not that I blame them, BUT when I saw the proof(and it's there in the Ultamania Guide), I realized that it is true. Hey, I personally could live with that. BUT, it seems that some people just CAN'T.
[I find it funny how you fanboys just jump to conclusion]
"I find it more pathetic how someone can be so ignorant and starting calling people fanboys. Jump to conclusion? The story writer said they are, then they are. Any denials = Ignorant"
It's short, but a LOAD of fun and well...beware of SPOILERS.

with_gusto is a webcomic on livejournal that takes 1950's style clip art and captions it.

Various readers disagree. In the comments, the author provides an alternate caption.

10:47am: Del Rey manga publishing censorship controversy
Initially I held off from posting this wank report, but there have been further developments to add to its wankiness. So my first report:
Del Rey announced they were starting a
manga imprint, licensing several series, including Gundam Seed and some Clamp series. Most people on AnimeonDVD forums seemed optimistic and open-minded about the newcomers with a "wait and see" attitude. Then someone happened to be reading the
online diary of Ken Akamatsu, manga-ka of
Negima! Magister Negi Magi and noticed how astonished Akamatsu was of the changes required by his American publishers, mostly covering up objectionable displays of skin. Rumors flew all over the place, although
the discussion remained remarkably civil, all things considered. Well mostly.
( Dallas Middaugh, Director of Manga, Del Rey, stepped into the fray )That went over like a lead balloon. Pre-orders have been cancelled and people are questioning whether to pick up the Clamp books, which are supposedly left unscathed. They're pointing out that other series like "Love Hina" are being put into regular bookstores without being edited. The really objectionable stuff like "Battle Royale" or Erica Sakurazawa books get shrink-wrapped. Del Rey was a new player in the manga field, so they've probably lost quite a few new customers in the process from the diehard fans.
( Toren Smith offers commentary and gets censored himself )At 26 pages of comments, there appears no end in sight.
UPDATE: Or maybe
not. Del Rey changed its mind, making it shrinkwrapped instead and labelled with 16+/explicit content.

1:23pm: Passion wank
Woah, surprising, huh? I friended with_gusto after seeing the wank that
karmakaze posted earlier. Anyway in this morning's post, he/she rather facetiously
tells everyone that they should go see "Passion of Christ". The conversation is low key until someone says she's
boycotting the movie because of those stupid LJ ads. Of course the conversation drifts to death and lighting and everything's cool until a believer
shows up to blame the lightning on Satan. Then we strike paydirt, as the participants argue as to whether crucifixion is the worst way to die EVAR.
I add my two teaspoons there at the end, so it might ought to go in
i_wank. However I hate the thought that those of you who haven't joined that community yet *cough*hint*cough* might miss out on the fun.
2:20pm: Bad RPers Suck wank. Common, eh?
This one, however, well...Now, FTR, I couldn't see Cloud/Tidus if it bit me in the butt. However, it looks these two Rpers(one of which is
rann) have been doing their best to make sense out of it all! Good for them! I wouldn't do that in a million years, but hey, if you think things through, wonderful! There isn't much of a problem in general, but then we meet
file_not_found.
Look what we learn from him! Yaoi is a fetish? Wow! I always thought that someone can only be a fetish if you can't sexually function without it. I can buy yaoi being a kink, but a fetish? I dunno...I guess it is for some. But, thene he claims that men "don't have sex to get love- they feign love to get sex. If they were really emotionally needy, they wouldn't want or need the sex to cement things."
I'm sure some of you men here just LOVE that, ya? I've always wondered though, how does someone "go gay"? Is that like going to the store?

9:24pm: "You seem to criticise a lot"
fanficrants brings the wank once more.
lence, who doesn't seem to have read the community name, starts the ball rolling. It's classic
"If you don't like it, don't read it!" stuff, in which she manages to patronise the entire community by psychobabbling,, suggesting it is frustration over thwarted personal desires that makes people criticise badfic:
