1:49pm: Hitch-hiker's Guide wank
There's an entire debate stating that Mos Def CANNOT play Ford Prefect because he does not have ginger hair.

Followed by an entire debate over what ginger hair really is. Is it dark brown? Is it brown-red? Is it red? Do we care?

The inevitable England v. America stuff is tossed about, folks screaming that Brooklyn is an illegitimate place for a person involved in this film to be born, etc. etc.

This is all really ridiculous, because they're fighting about the adaptation of a series that has *never* had anything resembling fluid continuity between adaptations, and frequently mutates from medium to medium...

*sigh*

And then the comments! The comments are more insane then the post! Either someone is putting us on majorly or I discovered a new depth of insanity that makes Hobbitfangirls seem like Harvard professsors.

7:36pm: beatprogeny has been wanking all over the Elfwood Rant community for a while now, and we've pretty much given up on reasoning with him.

Today, however, he has a problem with an Aragon/Legolas picture he found while surfing Elfwood. And boy is he angry. When informed that if he doesn't like it, he doesn't have to view it, he throws a complete hissy fit, telling people that if THEY don't like HIS rants, they need to "get the fuck out".

Small now, but these things never stay small with this guy.
