1:58pm: Tiny wank
Someone posts a link to a rather violent cartoon as a "gag". Some people get pissy.

Then, someone starts sending the guy hate mail.

While I believe the OP was using bad judgement to post that kind of thing to H_R, sending a bunch of hate mail is more than a little over the top. :P Really, the guy even apologized and tried to make things right, so why the hate? :P (Though I can't say I liked his cartoon, but still...)

Pairing wank. About AZUMANGA DAIOH, of all series.

This is ancient (From 9/02!), and it's pretty tiny as well, but Van_Fanel and dreamcatcher do get a bit riled up with each other.

Really, it's AZUMANGA DAIOH. Depending on how you see things there's hints for about a bazillion pairings-Sakaki/Kaorin, Sakaki/Kagura, Tomo/Yomi, Osaka/Chiyo, Chiyo/Sakaki, Tomo/Sakaki, Yukari/Nyamo, hell, even Tomo/Kagura. @_@; And Azumanga Daioh isn't even ABOUT pairings or serious romance in the first place.

8:45pm: How dare you criticize my writing?! I BELIEVED IN YOU!
It's a beautiful day in the "Skies of Arcadia" fandom over at Skies of Arcadia World.

Then "Yami Vyse" makes a post to the "Fan Creations" board in the forums, wanting to know what the community thinks of her latest fanfic.

Needless to say, a fanfic in which a 23 year old man has sex with a 12 year old girl and gets her pregnant (both are original characters, though the child that they end up having is a very minor canon character) does not go over too well with the community at large.

I don't know "Annie Felis", but I'd send her a ham and a plaque if I could, because she's the only one in this entire thing that's making any damn sense at all.

Don't miss the highlight of the wank, where Yami Vyse cries over having recieved ConCrit from Annie Felis, because "[She looks] up to [her] as inspiration..." (Felis is also a SOA fanfictionist). In a later post, she drops the old "I'M LEAVING FOREVER!!!" chestnut. It remains to be seen whether "FOREVER!!!" really does mean forever.

She also links to where one of her old fanfics was (poorly) MSTed by someone else, as proof that she really is a good writer. Uh?
