3:48am: April Fools!
lj_serialadder (obviously created by the LJ staff as an April Fool's Day joke) adds everyone on LJ, presumably. It's pretty much complete insanity.

There was some good wank on the first page of comments over whether or not "Cali" is an acceptable term for California. Also, gothicdroplets, who is MOR GAWTH THAN EVRY1, in particular is wanking pretty hard over there, so look for spooge where you see her name.

In other (and naturally, related) news, the change on user info pages from "Friends" and "Friends of" to "Stalking" and "Stalked by" is rather amusing.

Comments are multiplying like rabbits. Evil rabbits. Of d00m.

ETA: Loads of the comments are repeats. _deos (whose icon is rather hypnotizing) keeps posting a "Deos is Love" banner and asking people to "plz click me". annoyedchik says "i hates downriver" and asks people to friend/IM her, and shit__luck claims over and over very emphatically that "chaos is sex." Whatever that means.

Also, lifeofbrian posts the biggest fucking marquee I've ever seen. More than once.

Truly amazing. 101 pages and counting.

ETA 2:Ooh! The Harry Potter fandom makes an appearance (you know you were all waiting for it) when hi1arity posts Sirius/Remus and Harry/Draco art. And a James/Sirius/Remus threesome. Surprisingly unwanky (so far), but I felt it deserved a mention.

5:14am: ARE WE A DUMB BLONDE OR WHAT?!
The user info of the AI3 comm specifically states that on Wednesday nights, you do NOT have to use the LJ cut to talk about who got booted that week, and that if you aren't on the East Coast, you need to read the community with that in mind.

Regrettably, courtney_beth can't read, and complains. Repeatedly. Spams, even. In caps. With multiple exclamation points, and nonironic use of "!!1!". She's not the only assclown who's complained, but she has been the most persistent. It seems this is the third week in a row someone has cut and paste the rules for her, but it's just not sinking in.

This being the Internet, everyone takes that as their cue to lose their shit. Also in all caps, multiple exclamation points, et cetera.

I can't wait for the finale, I'll tell y'all. If the season so far is any indication, when the winner comes in, we'll be strolling along in the land of wank and honey.

But mostly? Wank.

ETA: In the comments of this post, janegraddell points out that courtney_beth is wanking all over the Harry Potter fandom, too and ranting about Cassie Claire and "plagerism" (she says she knows the REAL story, yo!). The girl actually proudly lists journals that have banned her from commenting in her user info. O_o Mental much?

Haven't had a chance to look through it properly yet, but there's got to be wank in them thar hills somewhere. In a quick scan I spotted anti-yaoi, anti-rps and that favourite 'lets rape the fic-writers' post from a while ago.

Slashy Punk Boys is a community that contains tons and tons of OMG! Good Charlotte slash, with a heavy emphasis on Benji/Joel the twins who has this, like, je ne sais quois that makes me, personally, want to beat them. Not terribly wanky yet, but all in caps and WTF?
