And here's more "InuYasha" fandom wank. (None of the visual links are safe for school or work.)

Urd-chan is a grown woman and mother of several- a fairly well known figure in the "InuYasha" fandom. She's one of the people who has been around for years, you know- before it all went to hell in a handbasket with it's premiere on cartoon network.

Urd runs a couple mailing lists: "InuYasha" Ecchi doujinshi being her most popular with almost 1,000 members, all there to see the extensive hentai doujinshi collection she scans and uploads.

Sure she'd do some things every once in a while that irritated some, but recently she opened a comprehensive "InuYasha" hentai site without... putting much thought into it.
Unfortunately this site is chock full of uncredited and unsorted fanart. People are naturally going to be upset at her right?

So let me get this straight... it's okay to post uncredited smutty fanart, but not for people to plagiarize your smutty fanfics? When people take so much time to draw these characters err... naked, they deserve the same credit as when you write about them... naked.

7:51pm: hermaphrodite hobbity reproduction
I bring to you a small, somewhat oldish but amusing MPREG kerfuffle that I found while trawling the hobbit_slash LJ Community.

I don't know the history, haven't read the fic *because nothing will compell me to after reading this.

saber_0rlando is displeased that her story has been taken down because the mod doesn't classify it as slash.

Frodo is not female - he is both. In fact, he is dominantly male - i.e. he looks like a male, and has male organs and stuff.

you dont get my point. at least I dont think you do. at any rate, gay hobbits usually dont get pregnant and have little childrens of their own.

dont get me wrong. Frodo having babies would be HILARIOUS but it's just not realistic. AT ALL. I can see stretching things every once in a while, but this is just plain... odd.

Finally:

So, as I see it, hermaphrodites have no place in slash. Quite disappointing, as I have no place to put this story anymore. And I put a lot of work into it, too.

Ah the 'what is, or isn't slash' debate mixed in with hermaphrodite hobbity reproduction. Now that's something you don't see everyday.

10:12pm: Asian-elitist wank that puts anime fen to shame...
So, I'm big on watching Japanese dramas and on a search for spoilers of the new TricK season I check the listings of a Southern California broadcast channel that caters to Asian dramas and programming. You'd think since it wasn't all important anime the fans would be a tad more mellow given it was a smaller fan base. And a little less elitist and pretentious since it's not being played on the EVOL Cartoon Network to all those plebes, right?

Not so with the tiny Korean drama "One Million Roses," which starts, as all Korean drama does, by someone calling someone else's mother (or fictional mother of a mother) a bad name. Enter the Asian values wank...
