I think I might start claiming I don't role play.

As I think has been mentioned here before, White Wolf is closing down their World of Darkness and restarting it as WoD 2.0.

Apparently they've decided that there will be no metaplot this time around. *shrug* I ignored metaplot, so I don't really care.

However, some people do.

After starting a huge wank about exactly the same topic last summer, LJ user xiombarg has apparently decided to start another one.

He graciously begins by pointing out how smart he is for realizing that the metaplot was bad, since White Wolf is now getting rid of it. He then tells everyone he's not holding his breath for their appologies for wanking with him not realising his genius last summer.

Needless to say, this doesn't go over well.

Highlights so far include lots of bolding, picking apart each other's posts, and questioning each other's ability to role play.

slavetosin69 does make an attempt at being rational, but I think he/she/it is being ignored.

"Wow. This is like a Geek-Cock Measuring contest. Simple. This guy doesn't like meta plot. If you like metaplot, fine, if you don't, fine. stop fucking whining about it like a buncha jerks. Christ in a hammock."

How true.

Edit to add: This wank is taking place in the wod_lj. He made the exact same post in the roleplayers (where the wank was last summer), and it's nice, calm, and rational. Maybe it's not RPing I should give up, but WoD?

2:21pm: InuYasha Pron Fanart Wank continues
So, last week we had the following lovely summary of Urd making a website devoted to InuYasha Pron and posting up over 100 pieces of hentai fanart, without a single credit to the artists.

Well most of the wank has been going on in the guestbook (saved copy) (current copy with deleted posts here: guestbook) with several comments telling her to credit fanart, and now a new one by an artist who gave her permission until she saw the actual gallery:

Asmodeus, if you are telling me to shut up -- then you've got a problem. Perhaps you like seeing your work on an obcene site like this -- but I don't.

To clarify, I did give Urd-chan permission but that was before I saw the site. She promised me a separate page and I expected it to be a tasteful site. Sites that advertise "big clits" are not tasteful. And I hereby rescind my persmission. Please take my artwork off your site immediately.

P.S. Your email does not work. Everything I send you comes back as undeliverable.


Then, someone apprently sent a private message to Asmodeus which that person forwarded with comments to Urd's Yahoo group ( Inuyasha_ecchi_doujinshi ) trying to act as a moderator. Urd did not appreciate the effort. She rants again about how she's done absolutely nothing wrong, since other people stole the fanart without permission before she did, and threatens the person who was simply trying to help her out:

"You might want to look up the definition of "negotiator", too. What you
have done here is not negotiation. It's a downright attack. I don't
appreciate it, and let's just say that I'm not happy about it. Next time,
be sure you get your facts straight. And, then, if you have an issue with
someone, contact them directly. Don't go public with it unless all else
fails. What you have done here is libel. And, you have gotten on my bad
side. I'm usually a pretty nice person. You probably aren't going to see
much of that side of me at this point. I've been attacked. I won't forget
it."

The sender of the private message just has to send another one chewing Urd out

In the mean time Urd has deleted all of the negative posts from her guestbook except the newest ones. I'm waiting for things to heat up!

4:57pm: Badgers? We Don't Need No Stinking Badgers!
My first wank. Please grease up with the lube of your choice and give it to me hard.

I never thought I'd actually get a chance to post a wank, since I just don't spend that much time hanging around wank hot-spots. Maybe there's a jurimprudence law covering the fact your chances of coming across, or being involved in, wank increase in direct proportion to the amount of time you spend online (hitting a probability of 1.00 after about four hours). Anyhoo, I was having a look at the latest Penny Arcade comic on LJ and thought I'd see what people were saying. When will I learn?

There are a couple of points where I thought the wank threatened to go off, including the second response "Mega-Con was more like gay-con", and I still have high hopes for the pocky wars starting towards the end of the thread. I'm sure someone can work up a good head of "how dare you hate my snack!"

But the actual wank comes from pluckzz who shows up to let everyone know that Penny Arcade isn't funny! Just a harmless little troll really, but there are some good responses, particularly from deglan, who suggests that:

"You actually read something because it's NOT funny? That's... um... how can I put this gently... like having sex with badgers because it makes you feel dirty and sad."

sagralisse convinced me that the combination of trolls, pocky and badger-sex made this worthy of posting, so blame her if you think it's pastede on YAY lame.
