The lowdown: Samurai Champloo is a new anime that's basically Cowboy Bebop set in feudal Japan with rap in place of jazz. Sexy art, sexy swordsmen, spunky lass and the scent of sunflowers. No, I don't get the last part either.

The controversy: Samurai are totally ghei! vs. It's all just a satiric stab at you idiot yaoi fangirls!

The rebuttal: I'm so totally leaving you losers! By someone who had not posted in the community at all...

The verbal seppuku: It's already been licensed before the fansubbers even got a chance to show it to the elite anime watchers! Prince of Tennis, while still somewhat of a small fandom, has had a few wanky moments. As for the live-action musical, however, I doubt any has popped up...until now.

sailorstarsun, posting as mukahi_gakuto, posts to tenimyu to promote another TeniMyu comm. (TeniMyu is the 'nickname' for the Prince of Tennis live-action musical, btw).

But this isn't just an advertisement! It seems Sailor has been banned from the community because one of the mods has a personal grudge against her.

She posts her story, posts proof that she has been banned and how her friend helped her...or something. Mod claims that it was 'posting' problems, but it seems only to be with Sailor. People show up telling her she's being childish, blah blah blah. Also, it seems chibihiku joins in to stick up for Sailor. *shrug*

The mod posts an explanation as to what supposedly happened. Now wank here yet, but I'm sure it'll pop up sooner or later.

Replies have been "frozen" (whatever the hell that means), so I don't know if this will progress or not. But hey! TeniMyu wank.

Just a bite sized IMDB wank. I just saw "King Arthur" and being the fangirl of Ioan Gruffudd that I am, I started hopping around on various fan sites about him. I ran across some posts about his girlfriend, Alice Evans, filled with complaints about her acting abilities, "She's just using him for publicity," "How dare you say those horrible things about her?", and someone claiming to be Alice Evans. And lots of deleted posts, alas.
