Icon maker killerspork33 posts some Sailor Moon icons. Much squeeing is had. sailormoon mentions her reason for taking an icon. Then we have amatsumitsukai posting with a "yea well WE r soulmates nyah!" comment. Hilarity wank ensues.

Apparently, both girls have boyfriends who are hotter than dear Mamo-chan. killerspork33 is loving all the drama. amatsumitsukai threatens to leave LJ forevah. And there are random people voicing their opinions on appearences and the eternal love of Usagi and Mamoru.

Small, but fun wank.

In a recent thread about a woman finding a toad in her salad a Farker posted this in response:

The truth behind the Harry Potter "Book Six Name" hoax is out, and of course the utterly-disconnected-from-anything-resembling-reality HP fans are acting like the hoaxer cooked and ate a baby right in front of them. The article is cute. However, minor hysterics erupt in the comments:

"It's obvious he meant for innocent fans to believe his dirty trick. I hope Rowling sues him."

"I would love to call this kid plenty of horrid things right now, but do to the moderators I will settle by calling him a repulsive jerk. How could anyone be so lame! ....Lame, pathetic, repulsive, immature, jerk...that is all he is...."

"What this thoughtless ("I didn't think...) person did was wrong and foolish. He never even thought about the fans, which is unkind and the opposite of what we try to do here in HPANA which is to be thoughtful and courteous to each other."

It has nothing to do with Suikoden. In fact, the topic started out completely innocent. But, almost immedietly, someone pulls their pud:

Okay seriously dude, are you gay?!? Not that there's anything wrong with that. But what guy seriously wonders about what they would be like if they were a girl unless they are gay, not that there's anything wrong with it.

Gee...I must be a lesbian, because sometimes I wonder what my name would have been (or would have been like) if I were a boy!

Anyway, it goes on for three pages! Loads of fun! If it makes you feel any better, the Mod who claimed that Falcon "had it coming" lost his mod powers.

1:58pm: Space Cases fen go wild
rigelianculture. A small, quiet community on Livejournal where fans of the old Nickelodeon sci-fi show Space Cases hang out and share art, fanfiction, and discuss anything related to the show.

One day, sad_alice comes along with hopes to publish a Space Cases manga through Tokyopop with Peter David's (the creator of Space Cases) permission. She posts entry after entry about this within a few weeks, including a supposed letter from Peter David. After this, she posts sketches that she submitted to Tokyopop. No one can actually tell if she wants constructive criticsm or not.

ph34rthedr4gon comments providing a small criticsm on how sad_alice drew Harlan, and it all goes downhill from there.

My favorite line (emphasis mine): That kinda made me feel like I was being lumped into all the Adult Swim-watching, House of Anime-invading yadda yadda catgirl genre OMG shiny big eyes and homogenized character sixteen year old artists, who will never get a job because they just cut and trace their favorite animes all the time and can't take crits without crying their eyes out even though they deserve it.
